Art Panels

Custom embroidered walls and wall art, from statement walls that define a space to framed pieces for every guestroom, designed with our team and made to order.

Plan for the design phase
Art panels are mostly design time, not production time. Bring us in early; the more time we have, the better the result.

Framed artwork

Smaller designs with several motifs across the fabric width, cut and framed as artwork, for example a matching set for every guestroom.

Statement walls

Large-scale embroidery for lobbies, restaurants and feature walls: the moment in a space everyone photographs.

Frequently asked questions

Is this for me?

What can an art panel be?

Anything from a small framed piece to a whole wall. Smaller designs fit several motifs across the fabric width, so they can be cut and framed, for example matching artwork for every guestroom. Large-scale embroidery can cover a feature wall, lobby or restaurant.

Can I use my own artwork?

Yes. Send us your artwork, or pick the stitch styles and techniques you like from our existing patterns, and our art team will turn it into a CAD for you and your client to approve.

How big can a panel be?

The limit is the fabric width, not the height. On a 54" fabric we leave at least 3" plain on each side, so the embroidery can be up to about 48" wide per panel and as tall as the wall needs. Our specialized machines embroider each panel with a single head, so large-scale designs are possible.

Does every panel have to be the same?

No. We have made projects with 24 individually designed panels, each sized to its wall. Repeating the same panel does bring the price down.

Make it yours

Machine or hand embroidery?

Either, or a mix. Hand embroidery adds depth, texture and vibrancy that machines can't match; machine embroidery keeps larger quantities consistent and cost-effective.

How do I choose the base fabric?

It's one of the most important decisions, because the base fabric is what people see most. Choose from our base fabrics, or send us a sample of what you like and we'll suggest our closest alternative; our team will help you get it right. We accept customer's own material (COM) only on the rarest of occasions.

Send us a fabric to match
Can I choose the thread colors?

Absolutely: mix and match any colors from our embroidery thread card, and our factory has thousands more shades available.

Hospitality & contract

Can it go directly on the wall?

Yes. Our finishing partner can paper-back the fabric so it installs like wallcovering, glued directly to the wall by a wallcovering installer. It's a premium step that turns the embroidery into a wallcovering.

Can it meet fire codes for walls?

Yes. The fabric can be treated to pass ASTM E84, the fire test for wall surfaces.

Ask about a contract project
Do you frame the panels?

Not at the moment. We supply the embroidered fabric, and your framer or workroom frames or mounts it.

Planning your project

How long does it take?

Most of the time goes into design, and the design phase takes as long as you and your client need, so bring us in early. The strike-off takes 3–4 weeks. After it is approved and we receive your PO and deposit, production takes about 8–10 weeks. Shipping time is extra: smaller orders usually come by air, which adds about 1–2 weeks. Sea freight is typical for large-volume orders and adds about 6–8 weeks, but costs less. FR treatment, when needed, adds about 1–2 weeks plus local transit. Working to a deadline? Talk to us early and we'll do our best to meet your delivery date.

How is it priced?

Per project. Tell us the number of panels, their dimensions and your idea, and we'll quote you.

Is there a minimum?

No set minimum. Every project is quoted on its own, from a single statement wall to dozens of framed pieces.
