Sourcing

We have long-standing relationships with factories all over the world, and their samples on hand. Tell us what you need and we can usually find it and get a sample to you quickly. When it doesn't exist, we develop it.

First, we look

Whatever the fabric, there's a good chance one of our factories already makes it. If a match exists, it's the fastest route and a sample goes out quickly.

If it's not there, we make it

We develop the fabric to your specification, budget, lead time and fire code.

When to call us

It's over budget

The look is right but the price isn't. We rework the construction, the fiber or the technique until it fits the budget.

It won't arrive in time

A long back order shouldn't hold up an opening. We find a faster way to make it.

It has to meet code

We convert fabrics to inherently flame retardant polyester or treat them to pass NFPA 701, and test them for contract durability.

It doesn't exist

Discontinued, or still only a sketch. We make it from a cutting, a reference or your drawing.

Problems we have solved

Each one made to the designer's brief and approved before production.

Embroidered silk wall fabric developed in place of a woven silk
16 weeks became 6. The woven silk chosen for a casino's walls was on a 16-week back order. We reinterpreted the design as an embroidery on silk and delivered 950 yards in six weeks.
Embroidered tape on hotel drapery Embroidered tape, detail
The trim that couldn't be had. The tape the designer wanted wasn't available. We developed it as an embroidered tape and delivered 6,000 yards for a hotel's drapery.
Plaid printed on blackout fabric
A woven plaid, reimagined as a printed blackout. We turned the designer's woven plaid into a print on inherently flame retardant blackout fabric. No separate lining, so it costs less to fabricate.
Damask converted to flame retardant polyester
Made to meet code. A damask converted to 100% polyester that is inherently flame retardant, so it passes NFPA 701 without treatment.
Custom velvet stripe
Discontinued, then remade. A velvet stripe developed for a hotel brand standard after the original was discontinued.
Layout: border repeated every five yards across a 118 inch sheer Embroidered border on sheer fabric
Planned for the workroom. 5,385 yards of guestroom sheers. We railroaded the border and repeated it every five yards, so each panel could be cut and sewn with no waste.
